WELCOME STUDENTS.....
This website was designed to make our study for the Dantes Ethics in America exam as easy as possible.  It will also enable the sharing of our lesson plans with other homeschooling parents who are interested in having their teens earn college credits through Dantes/Clep.  (See donation button at the bottom - thanks!)

IMPORTANT - This exam has an OPTIONAL essay.  Thomas Edison state college and some other colleges do NOT require this essay.  However, if your ending point college does require the essay you should be an enrolled student prior to taking the exam so the college can grade your essay.
A sample essay question is included in the DSST "fact sheet" guide, which will provide detailed information about the exam.  If you would like additional sample essay questions you may also purchase the DSST Official Preparation Guide.

This webpage provides a place to check for weekly assignments and reminders.

We also offer a message board for students to get help from one another by posting questions and answers from the weekly material from class.  Be sure to get parental permission before joining the "CLEP Prep board."  Thanks!

MEETING DATE:  (Pertains to locally held classes ONLY - not to Web users)

Remember to check back weekly for updates! :)  Email Mrs. McQ with any questions you may have about the weekly assignments or the material and we'll find the answers together!

"Being Good" by Simon Blackburn  Note:  This is NOT a Christian book and advocates skepticism of all faiths and their impact on ethics.
