Week Two Assignments

Try to complete this by our next meeting. You do NOT need to memorize the material. Just take in what you can.

1) Each DAY of study you are to click & view an online video from one of the following Learner.org series:

"The Western Tradition" programs 1-30, 1/2 hour programs

"The Art of the Western World" programs 1-5, 1 hour programs

2) Read Chapter 2 of the "REA Western Civilization I" prep book. Take notes if you like, as this will help you to remember. Do not worry if you do not understand it all. Remember, this is college material and we have plenty of time.

3) Access the Free University "Western Civilization I" page for reinforcing lectures, texts and quizzes for Unit 2.

At our next meeting we will:

-review the previous assignments

-will answer your own questions

-will discuss the online video & resources
