Week Five Assignments

Complete this by our next meeting. I'm reminding you again that you do NOT need to memorize the material. Just continue to absorb what you can. Use the "Spark Notes" link on the homepage to research specific pieces of literature in more depth.

*Parents - it's time to schedule the CLEP exam for four to five weeks from now. Use the link about the "test" on the toolbar.

1) Each week you are to view one online video program from the "Voices and Visions" series.

2) Read Part 5 of the Idiot's Guide to American Literature. Take notes if you like, as this will help you to remember. Do not worry if you do not understand it all. Remember, this is college material and we have plenty of time. You guys are doing an excellent job on this challenging material! Only three more weeks to go!

3)Read theme 5 of the American Literature EZ - 101 book.

At our next meeting we will:

-will answer your own questions

-will discuss the online video
