1) Read the last 20 pages of the Sociology Super Review by REA. Again,
continue taking notes as you read, using an outline method, as this will help you to remember. You guys are doing
great!
2) Make vocabulary flash cards on any special sociology terms in the above reading assignment.
Your flashcards should be written so that the word is on the front of the card and the definition is on the back of the card,
so you can quiz yourself later. Continue daily review of your vocabulary
flash cards. Get them down to a two or three word mental reminder for each card.
3) Read pages 60-76 of the REA Intro to Sociology book. This is the end of your reading
assignments. Final reminder: Don't obsess about note taking on the REA, as most
of this is review from the other readings. Take notes on things that are new or difficult for you in the reading.
4) Review your flashcards from the leaders of Sociology assignment from last
week.
5) Try your hand at the final practice test in the REA book and report your success at our
next meeting. The test is on page 178 of the REA book. Use the answer key after the test and go over the
"detailed explanations of answers" for the questions you missed.
At our final meeting we will:
-review all sets of flashcards
-review the practice test two results
-will answer your own questions
-will view the video tape
