1) Read chapter 1 of the "Elements of Technical Writing" book. Take
notes if you like, as this will help you to remember. Do not worry if you do not understand it all. Remember,
this is college material and we have plenty of time.
2) Read part 1 of the "Idiots" guide.
Some of these videos will be helpful. Ignore those that are not applicable. You
may also search the eHow.com video library (top search tool bar) for additional technical writing videos. eHow is
a great resource for instructional videos and it's free. Watch any videos that correspond with your current reading
material.
