Week Four Assignments

Try to complete this by our next meeting. Again, you do NOT need to memorize the material. Just take in what you can. Continue to dig deeper by completing all assignments.

1) Read chapter 4 of the "Elements of Technical Writing" book. Again, continue taking notes as you read, using an outline method, as this will help you to remember. You guys are doing great!

2) Read part 4 of the "Idiot's" guide.

3) View any of the applicable online eHow "Laura Turner Writers Series" at http://www.ehow.com/videos-on_9019_technical-writing-skills.html AND at http://www.ehow.com/videos-on_9616_creative-writing-tips-students-teachers.html
Some of these videos will be helpful. Ignore those that are not applicable. You may also search the eHow.com video library (top search tool bar) for additional technical writing videos. eHow is a great resource for instructional videos and it's free. Watch any videos that correspond with your current reading material.
